Our Process

Our vision is to provide a collaborative one-stop approach to move management, ensuring the ease of transition for all who are making a move.

We provide a high level of excellence in execution of move management and downsizing. Our team is highly skilled and compassionate, providing the perfect combination for an elevated experience and reducing stress. We are accredited by NASMM and will celebrate 20 years in business Spring 2025. Our niche markets are those who are either downsizing or want a simple streamlined approach to rightsizing. Whether it’s helping a senior navigate a downsize after 40 years in the same home or managing a complex high-end luxury move, we have the tools and experience to simply get the job done right!

Initial Consultation

We will visit your home to assess your unique needs and explain our process. We will gather information, take photos and discuss the project.

Estimate

After viewing your home, we will create a custom document detailing the steps of your unique project and informing you about some associated costs. After signing, work can begin!

Scheduling and Coordination

Our team will reach out to discuss the timeline, schedule dates and confirm details. You will be introduced to your Project Manager who will see your project through to completion. If outside vendors are needed, we know someone for that and will help arrange it for you.

Layout Design

The LGM Layout Specialist will take measurements of your furniture and new spaces to create a custom Layout showing where all of your furniture will be placed.

Sorting

Your Project Manager will guide you through the sorting process, advising you on how much space you have for storage in your new home. We will use our labeling system to indicate what is ready to be packed!

Packing, Moving, Unpacking

The LGM will professionally pack and label all of your items. We will oversee movers on move day and make sure everything is placed according to the Layout. The team takes great care to place your items back where they belong, hanging artwork and making your new home feel familiar from the start!

Dispersal of Goods

Through estate sales and donation pickups, LGM will make sure your unwanted items are put to good use elsewhere! We provide you with an itemized donation inventory you can use for your taxes.

Clear and Clean

We remove picture hooks, trash and all unwanted items. A deep clean ensures the home is sparkling and photo ready!
